Central Six is a regional funding collaborative that includes the State of Alabama, philanthropic organizations, local business and industry, Alabama Community College System, the K-12 System, training providers, and local municipal governments. The vision shared with these partners is to create a 21st Century workforce that is proactive, responsive, and results driven, and supports the region’s diverse population and employers, providing quality job opportunities in support of a vibrant regional economy. The collaboration is committed to creating and aligning clear career advancement pathways so that all workers may progress along a continuum from low-wage, low-skill, into higher-wage, higher-skill positions. This requires increasing the capacity of the workforce development system as well as pushing for policy changes that will ensure the success and sustainability of these efforts.
Our Task
To create a website that was innovative and different from all other government websites. This ongoing project also required us to create print and video promotional material for Central Six Alabamaworks.
